2014 Season

HECLA/GRINDSTONE PROVINCIAL PARK

Hecla Golf Course -  Open call 204-279-2072 for a tee time.

Guided Walks and Village Tours. Starting  Mid June.

For interpretive programs contact program information at 279-2056.

Church Services every Sunday during the summer @ 11am in the Hecla Community Church— non denominational, upbeat, casual, lots of music, and something for children as well.

 

June 20th - 22nd

        Summer Solstice Retreat at Solmundson Gesta Hus call (204)279-2088 or check out www.hecla.ca for more info.

 

June 28th and 29th

           Community Garage Sale - at the Hall. Bring the items you no longer need, or come down and find the items you do. There will be a bake sale and silent auction too! Ponnukokur baking event Saturday the 28th at 11am in the Hall Kitchen - bring an apron and lend a hand. All proceeds to Hecla Heritage Village Association.

 

Sunday, August 3rd

            10:00 am to 3:00 pm: Bake Sale, Silent Auction and Art Show at the Community Hall

 

            1:00pm the Annual Hecla Parade through the village

 

            11:00 am BBQ and Kid's Carnival at the Community Hall– Run by the Riverton & District Friendship Centre

 

            8:00 pm Remember the 80’s Family Dance Party with prizes for costumes, music by a Tanya,  Karaoke a late lunch and the silent auction draw.

 

Fisherman’s Service  August 24th 11am Hecla Community Church “Blessing of the Fleet” ,following the service come and join us for loaves & fishes at the Community Hall.
